Web Developer
What we’re looking for:
- You are thorough and methodical when it comes to code.
- You are inspired by cutting-edge web development, you care about every aspect of a user’s experience and you aren’t satisfied until what you’re building is perfect.
- You understand development principles well enough to give quality feedback and aren’t afraid to speak up when you have it to give.
- You’re self-motivated and reliable.
- You have an awesome attitude, a get-it-done work ethic, and still grin at the occasional office prank.
- You're comfortable working with a small and agile team in a fast-paced environment.
What you should have:
- 3 years experience with HTML and CSS (or proof that you can be just as awesome with less experience)
- 2 years experience with server-side languages (ASP and C# preferred)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery or Prototype
- Experience with open source Content Management Systems
- Conformity to W3C Standards (please provide examples)
- SEO-friendly code
We’d prefer that you have:
- Some graphic design experience, specifically with Photoshop

SEO Expert
What we’re looking for:
- Assist with research and execution of organic search engine optimization and pay-per-click search marketing campaigns for clients.
- Identify and implement strategies for increasing site traffic through organic search listings without being blacklisted
- Use web tools to track site traffic, rankings, and ultimately sales for Aptera and Aptera’s clients
- Evaluate Landing Pages for Maximum Effectiveness
- Evaluate Website Creatives for SEO Effectiveness
- Execute Link Building Campaigns
- Research and resolve HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues
- Analyze website strategies and translate data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategies
- Contribute strategic recommendations for Aptera’s internal online marketing presence and efforts
- Monitor and report on new tools, trends, and best practices in the search industry
- Assist Marketing Coordinator in monitoring key performance indicators for SEO
- Hands-on optimization; improving site structure, page construction, content, keyword lists
- Assisting in layout of web pages using valid xHTML and CSS when required
What you should have:
- 2 years of experience; or proof that you’re just as awesome with less
- You're self-directed when confronted with support issues
- You’re self-motivated and reliable
