Four years ago, Red Gold had a single website with sections for each of their tomato brands, but was wanting to shift to a more targeted marketing approach. To help achieve that goal, the Aptera team developed and implemented four new websites for Red Gold; one for corporate and one for each of their three biggest regional brands of canned tomatoes: Red Gold, Tuttorosso, and Redpack. Each site was recognized with the Sitefinity Site of the Year Award the year it was released.
A key feature of each of Red Gold’s brand websites is the recipe indexes. We worked closely with the team at Red Gold to help break out their large collection of recipes into searchable, optimized recipe libraries.
In addition to their main sites, the Aptera team also developed a few microsites that live within the existing website, including one for Red Gold’s annual Crush Hunger campaign that seeks to end hunger in America.
