>> As a Business Analyst you will

  • Drive conversation with clients around core business objectives, inefficiencies and pain points
  • Use a mix of standard techniques and conversational proficiency to quickly understand and document a client’s processes and needs
  • Use website analytics and knowledge of digital marketing and web technologies to design and deliver recommendations for clients
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve clients’ approach to serving users and market audiences using digital marketing and custom applications
  • Develop analytic strategies to solve customer-focused marketing challenges, including segmentation, personalization, real-time targeting, promotional impact, and predictive modeling
  • Serve as a consultant to clients, seeking to understand client needs throughout the requirements phase and entire project lifespan
  • Partner with Aptera’s technical staff to design solutions to address client’s needs
  • Develop specifications that will allow the client and Aptera development staff to understand the solution that will be developed by Aptera
  • Stay current on developments in business intelligence, marketing analytics, and Web/digital technology

  • Experience using web analytics tools and interpreting data to report on success or recommend strategic changes
  • Experience doing SEO keyword research to drive strategies for capturing traffic and driving conversion online
  • Experience diagramming business processes, writing user stories and creating wireframes or using prototyping software
  • Experience planning digital marketing to target specific audiences using web marketing tools and strategies
  • Experience interacting with software, web, or mobile development professionals
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile/scrum methodologies is a plus, along with software such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) for managing project workflow and requirements
  • Willingness to travel (15%-25%)
  • Advanced degree in technology and 2+ years of experience in a related area preferred
